Service Description

You may wonder - why would you need to arrange a separate transfer in New York, if you can always take a taxi? Yes, you can. But in reality it’s all not so easy and obvious ... The fact is that in New York you need to hail yellow cabs ONLY, they are the only official taxis in the city. And there is always a long line for them in the airport, and sometimes this line is too long to stand after a long flight… and the “yellow” cars are are often not very clean and uncomfortable ... There’s always an illegal alternative: those very energetic and loud gentlemen who fish for passengers at the end of the official taxi line. Their services are illegal*. They drive various kinds of unlicensed and uninsured cars, pompously called "limousines". And they will charge you much higher fare - from $ 200 to $ 250 for a transfer from JFK airport to Manhattan, and that would be the best case scenario when they eventually bring you to your destination at all... Therefore, our transfer in New York is priced in the “golden mean”: we do not charge this high “limousine” fare but also do not price our transfer at the yellow cab level. You will be greeted by our driver with a sign (your last name or the name of your company, or any code word of your choice) in the airport waiting area and will be taken to any area of New York City, to a hotel/apartment or office. The price is per car/bus. You can pay in cash on the spot. —————- *They are pretty much aware of this and therefore behave "secretly". Also, you’ll here an announcement in the airport every five minutes stating “do not use the services of drivers who approach you with whom you did pre-arranged your transfer” ...
